I would like to meet people from all parts of Newton. Consider inviting me to meet a group of your friends and neighbors to discuss Newton’s challenges and the future of the schools and the city.

Send Postcards to Friends:
Just prior to the election, I will provide you with postcards explaining that you will be voting for me on November 8th and encouraging your friends to do so as well. You fill in the name and addresses. I will collect them, stamp them, and get them in the mail on the right day.

Put on a Bumper Sticker:
Ask for a free bumper sticker to place on your car, truck, van or bike.

Place a Lawn Sign in the Yard:
Help build name recognition for my campaign with a lawn sign as the election draws near. (Signs go up in mid-September and come down within 48 hours of the election.)

Endorse Ruthanne Publicly:
By allowing me to use your name as an endorser, you will help me connect with people in the community. Allowing me to include your name as an endorser means you will be listed on my website and possibly in some ads.

Work on the Campaign:
A successful campaign requires many hands.You might help stuff and stamp envelopes, construct and deliver signs and/or Dear Friend postcards, or enter some names in the database.

Hold a Sign on Election Day:
On both September 13th (the primary) and on November 8th, take a little time to hold a sign at a polling site and greet neighbors as they come to vote.

Write a Letter to Newton Tab:
Write a Letter to the Editor of the Newton TAB explaining why you’re voting for me.
